The funniest thing (EVER) happened the other day. So I use homemade toothpaste (thanks to my lil sister Kayla who made me a years worth of it a few months ago). And I have been anticipating my daughters response to it because the taste is interesting. I also brush my teeth with Activated Charcoal (see Katies sweet video here: youtu.be/Ve_LEBqPPnw). Both are awesome! Anyways, I was in the bathroom and Emma came in to get some toothpaste because she was out. So I put some of my homemade toothpaste on her brush and didnt say anything. Although, I must admit. I was laughing inside and even turned around to pretend I was doing something else so I could smile and silently laugh without her looking. This girl screamed and cried so hard! I stood there like a bad mother and laughed even HARDER! I tried to play it off, What!?! Whats wrong Emma? She started spiting and crying and I laughed as I told her, No! It tastes amazing! My encouragement only led to more laughter and then I started brushing her teeth as she kept on crying. So! Kids may not like this, but it is some good non-chemical toothpaste (that is cheap to make too!). I also have a page of detox bath info hanging over my toilet (next to the tub) and all of the ingredients on the top of the potty. And I use some of the ingredients to quickly scrub the toilet (apple cider vinegar and baking soda cleans just about anything!).
