I watched Heaven is Real with my family yesterday and I totally get it. Some of you have heard my story about what happened to me when I was unconscious for 3 weeks after being hit by the train. The thing I didnt understand in the movie was why everyone else didnt get it. When I had my near death experience none of my family or friends questioned anything I told them. Maybe its because my familys religion firmly believes in life after death and that each of us has a spirit that can exist even without a body. At the time I had the experience, I was excited to tell everyone about it and the love that I felt in that incredible place but as time went on, it started to feel like it was too sacred for me to share (also I was afraid that I was using it to get attention and that was not my intent). But seeing that movie made me feel like maybe it is my place to testify that Heaven is real and that Our Saviors love is more intense than we can even imagine. If I could give comfort to someone, it would be worth it. I need to write all this down in some form. Im a writer (in the broadest sense)but I have found that the more personal a thing is to me, the more difficult it is to write about. If you want to hear about it, message me, and someday I will write it out completely, maybe in a form I can publish in some way.
