I watched a q&a phone in on Islamic TV. The question was "what do you do if you promised allah you would quit smoking , and then you did not quit?" The answer was long and detailed and involved giving money as well as physical supplication, unless it was an oath , and then there is a different list of instructions. God gave the original peoples, which included future Muslims, a long list of rules and sacrifices in case of sins, but it became obvious Man could not follow these rules to reach perfection, so God gave Jesus as the greatest and final sacrifice to cover ALL Mans sins. All you have to do is accept this sacrifice to be "good" with God. Islam is dragging people back into the bloody, dirty minutia of laws and rules and sacrifice. It is entirely man-made. The concept of FREE WILL is the most powerful concept ever. An entity is so huge and so powerful and so infinite that they dont need your sacrifice or donation, but if you say yes, they will ALWAYS protect and provide for you. YES, it is that simple! Jesus is lord!
