I watched the Ken Ham/Bill Nye debate. Hey, uh, heres a thought: Lets keep science and faith separate, okay? If young earth creationists believe in the Bible, maybe they ought to think about Hebrews 11:1, which goes Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Science tries to fill in gaps in our understanding based on provable, observable evidence; the stuff we CAN see. Faith fills in the gaps that science hasnt explained, and that can be a wonderful thing. But dont pass off articles of faith as science. Dont hijack the word science and twist it to mean Interpreting data to reach a predetermined and unprovable conclusion. Science is there in part because the world will never agree on which religion is the one true faith. The facts we can all prove and observe are right says the scientist. This holy book says its right, and I deeply feel that its true says the religious man. Just dont get em twisted, ya know?
