I welcome the announcement that approx. 300 ATO jobs will be based in Gosford. This will be good for the local economy. I just hope the Liberals dont harass the workers the way former Liberal Power Broker and Member for Terrigal Chris Hartcher did, attacking Work Cover Staff for frequenting and spending money in local businesses. As soon as the NSW Liberals gained power they shipped off over 200 Work Cover staff away from Gosford. Maybe thats why there were no State Liberals invited to the press conference? Labor will always support local jobs whilst the NSW Liberals seem intent on sending them elsewhere. Maritime office closed. Fair Trading Office closed. 200 plus positions gone from Work Cover. We deserve better.
