I welcome you, inhabitants of social networks, whom I meet in this - TopicsExpress

I welcome you, inhabitants of social networks, whom I meet in this small island of communication from time to time, or even those ones, who are living in “online regime”. For last 2-3 years I’m noticing, how more and more people are dating with each other somewhere in a cafe, have a small talk, drink some cocktails and the rest of the time they are looking through their mobile phones, visiting twitter, “fcb”, “vk”, chatting in whatsapp… and how without instagramm (one hundred lift-look pictures, two hundred meal pictures, and three hundred clothes and other things like even just legs pictures), looking over different friend’s news, photos, liking everything as it is common and usual nowadays, posting some comments, and declaring about themselves… And the main question is what for were you meeting then? Despite the fact I can add some more comments about this issue, my today’s note is dedicated to the not less enthralling subject... Again and again my friend-photographer Assel, who is creating her pictures in out of box style, is telling a story about strangers... The picture was done in the most attractive and inspiring Assel’s city, London… It was one of warm days, when a grass has already been painted into rich emerald clothing, bringing its comfortable small contribution in our hearts, and promising a spring thaw and this noticing and warming hope like something wonderful should happen. First, that dashed in my eyes were two benches, on each of which young guys, unknown to each other, were sitting separately… Each of them was busy with his personal businesses... A girl had “a dating with her mobile telephone”, well and a fellow was reading a book, and nobody noticed nobody. And, involuntarily, there was a question in my curios mind that promoted me to write this essay. Why even pigeons look on each other, meanwhile as human beings manage not to see, hear and feel each other, behaving as blind barely hatching kittens? Yes, certainly, we can suppose that she was waiting for someone, while he was having a rest in a park, relaxing with reading one of his lovely books… And the question is… Were they indeed leading away with their things to do or it is “nowadays common protection of lonely people”? And these protections are everywhere… mobile phones, notebooks, books… And going back to our main characters I’m again and again asking myself… What the hell they were not introducing to each other? Maybe they had already relations, but because they were alone on this picture, then I considered that in that concrete situation they were lonely people. If to think more globally, it turns out that every day we are missing millions of opportunities to meet interesting people from whom we can receive new knowledge… or find a love… Because we can’t be as that pigeons, who were the main characters of this picture indeed, and were much cleverer than those two representatives of woman and masculine genders, because they were able do the main things… to see each other. flickr/photos/astar17/8678109538/in/photostream
