I went and saw the movie Dom Hemmingway starring Jude Law last night at the artsy movie theater. Its a dark, violent, crime-centered comedy. Six people at the show, including a pair of older ladies and a single older gal. The film opens up with Jude Law in prison, extolling the magnificence of his own weiner while another inmate is, um, pleasuring him. Then, within a couple minutes or so, we see Jude nearly beat a man to death. At this point, the two older ladies walk out of the movie, followed soon thereafter by the other older gal. That means half the audience is gone, leaving me and another couple. Great movie, though, full of great performances and laughs.
