I went to Galena and Baxter Springs, Kansas today, and visited the historical sites where Rev. Charles Parham was mightily used of God to establish the modern Pentecostal movement at the turn of the 20th Century. These two towns are separated by approximately 5 miles, yet they contain many landmarks that remind us of Parhams determination to establish Gods work in a time when the odds were stacked against him! I wish every Pentecostal believer could visit these landmarks and get a real feel for what he had to endure that there might be a Pentecostal movement today!
