I went to another awesome Billy Joel concert at Madison Square Garden last night! This was Garden show number 10 for me last night! I would like to dedicate this review to my friends, Todd, Phil, and Nancy! LOL! LMAO! He opened with Miami 2017 (Seen the Lights Go Out on Broadway) as he has for 8 of the 10 shows! Great song! One surprise was getting the song Laura which he hasnt done at any Garden shows this year. Its a OK song but I used to date 2 Lauras in the past and both ended bad so it brought back bad memories for me! LOL! As Billy started from the August 7 show, he continued to let the fans in the audience choose the next song and would play whichever got a louder response. Sometimes a Fantasy (I chose, and won, Love this song!) beat out All ForLeyna. Also, Vienna beat out Summer Highland Falls which I chose another song I love. Im not too crazy for Vienna. Another thing that Billy started at the Aug 7 show was letting his roadie sing the AC/DC song Highway To Hell while he plays the guitar! The highlight for me last night was after New York State Of Mind, Billy dedicated the song to Derek Jeter for being such a class act! It made me feel good since I was wearing my Derek Jeter Shirt, Last Game at Yankee Stadium, September 25, 2014, I Witnessed History from the Previous Thursday! LOL! Yes, I heard all the hits for the 10th time this year, Pressure, Allentown, My Life, Its Still Rock N Roll To Me, You May Be Right, of course Piano Man and Scenes From An Italian Restaurant, and closed with Only The Good Die Young as always! Just want to say there are some things in life that never get played out, old and boring! Going to see another sold out Billy Joel Concert at Madison Square Garden every month is one of those things! LOL! LMAO!
