I went to my daughters very first volleyball game today and I saw some distressing behavior from some parents (both teams). These are middle school aged young ladies, many of which are trying this for the first time. If one of the girls served and the ball didnt go over the net the parents would crack up. Um... when did this become socially acceptable? I wouldnt dream of laughing at a child that was attempting for the first time, it was already a pressure filled scenario. My heart aches for our youth with this being taught at home.
