I went to my favorite Chinese restaurant today that Ive been going to since the owner which is now 70 was pregnant with her youngest daughter, thats how long I have patroned the place; Well upon entering I noticed the place had changed, the sign was now under new management, and no longer would they be serving chinese food, but japanese hibachi style instead, yet Mrs. Lee the former owner was there to greet us, I asked her had she sold the business, she responded yes, she and her husband were old now and wanted to rest, I then asked her, so if this is no longer your business, why are you still here ? CHURCH, this blessed me, she said, I want to stay long enough to help them get settled in and my face will help my customers know that though I am not here, and its under new management, this is still a great place to come. Listen, her reason for staying was not to try and MAKE the new owners do things her way, but to strengthen their business with her presence until it gained the reputation needed to succeed, because surely, if the EXPERIENCED is supporting the NEW, it has to be good. What if the transition of succession within the Kingdom was like this, knowing how to release the NEW into the NOW, all while being the wind in their backs instead of being like Saul, not being able to handle the SHIFTING of the moment....+TLP
