I went to see Queen with Adam Lambert on Monday at the Bell Centre. Adam did an outstanding job....that man can sing! At times he was hitting notes that I think only dogs can hear. I do have some complaints though.....they started almost an hour late, 8;20 instead of 730 which means that I was stuck in those uncomfortable seats for almost 90 minutes before showtime and at $11.25 for a regular beer I wasnt drinking much! Also, too many solo features, all tolled there was about 40 minutes of solo spots.....waaaayyy too long, I wanted to hear the band and their incredible repertoire not Brian May piddling around on an A chord or Roger Taylor doing a drum solo with his son...... I guess I was just spoiled by the Ottawa Bluesfest where the shows ran like clockwork and there was no wasted time!
