I went to the little town of Miami Arizona this weekend to attend the funeral of my uncle Filipe J Ortega after cancer took him from his family and all who knew and loved him. My uncle was not just my uncle he was my godfather my friend my insperation and hero. He served in the Army during WW Ii and fought in the invasion of Okinawa he served his country proudly and with courage the same way he faced life and eventually his death. My uncle was a true family man and role model I will miss him but he will always be in my heart as I try to live my life as he did.....rest in peace Nino.
