I wish I had said these words first because these are the words that I have not been able to get out as eloquently and precisely since I picked up a camera with any seriousness for the first time 13 years ago. Thank you for showing them to me Lizette and for impacting my life, my family and my work more than you will ever know. To me, photography is like a quest, or a pilgrimage, or a hunt. I love painting, I love music, but photography is what has allowed me to get outside of myself. If I were eighteen years old, I would take up drawing; if I were four years old, I would study music.
