I wish our citys residents cared just as much about the senseless murders happening daily on our streets as they do nationally recognized cases. I dont mind protesting as a form of controlled expression of emotion because when done right it can be therapeutic and bring about awareness that may lead to change. What about 100s of people lay down in the streets of Chicagos problematic areas or on high drug traffic corners to stop the violence? Sitting on LSD is only delaying hardworking people from seeing their families after a long day of work. Push the protesting to the places which can affect the outcome of the problem, hinder the source of your distress not the innocent hardworking public.
