I wish this didnt irk me, but unfortunately, it absolutely does! I just came from a convenience store near my house in order to boost my drooping energy level with a coffee. So Im standing there in line, as Im doing so a black n white pulls up and parks his vehicle in the handicapped slot, even though theres plenty of able bodied parking in the stores lot. Moments later, this officer is standing behind me in line... and I almost pointed out to him his error, but deemed the risk not worth the reward--and kept quiet. Now, I know this is minor in the scope of things (unless you happen to be disabled and seeking a place to park), but still, if Id have been the one to park there (which I NEVER would btw), but if I had, and that same officer spotted me... you can bet your life that Id now be the proud recipient of a multi-hundred dollar citation. Why are law enforcement not held to the same standard... if not an even higher one? I mean that cop knows, whos gonna say anything to him... answer--no one!!! And so it goes. Ugggghhh!!
