I woke up this morning as if it was an ordinary day. Then I realized I dont have to put on the black hoodie and timberlands to take Storm for a walk. When leaving for work I didnt have to turn on the tv in the living room and distract Storm with some treats before dashing out the door. When I get home tonight their wont be a note from my neighbor saying Storm had fun playing with Leo, she wouldnt stop eating grass, or Storm played catch me if you can with a stick in her mouth. Storm wont be there when I get home to say I dont care what your day was like, show me some love. She wont constantly bug me for my food or check the shower before I get in. I have no clue why she did that. When I go for a walk, strangers to me wont say, Hey Storm! and totally ignore that Im standing there. Theres nothing ordinary about today. My baby is gone and I miss the hell out of her. Special thanks to Bobby Williams, Jerilyn Twydell, and Earl Heyliger for being there to help say goodbye.
