I woke up this morning excited about practice today until I realized the season is over. This is more than Football, you really get emotionally attached to these kids and all of their different crazy personalities. I had to put a lot of things to the side in order to make time for this and Im glad I did. Just hearing them come up to you after the last game with tears in their eyes and saying Thank you for coaching me makes everything worth. We were blessed with a great group of kids and it was a pleasure watching them grow from boys to young men over tge season, they didnt just earn coaches they earned Family. I challenge our classmates and anyone else to get involved in these kids lives early because it does make a difference.
