I wonder how Shepard Smith gets away with presenting a voice of reason on a network that is so over the top that its insane. Fox News network literally had a talking head that stated that Obama is responsible for bringing Ebola in the United States because he is trying to turn the U.S. into Africa.... How can you call yourself a news service if all your doing is propaganda 24/7, and its not even good propaganda. It is so bat shit crazy that people should be saying, this is insane yet the out of the 24/7 news networks, they continue to be number 1 in ratings. There already were studies by the way that showed that those that didnt bother paying attention to any news service at all, scored better at current events knowledge than those that watched Fox News...If you stared at a blank wall, your knowledge of current events was better than the average Fox News viewer. That indicates gross misinformation to insane levels.. Thats very telling about the right wing of the United States. In order to get people to be conservative in their worldview as todays conservatives define it, you have to lie about current events, leave out huge gaps of information, and basically rewrite history. That right there should be enough to consider conservative and libertarian views, as the current political environment defines them, as pure and utter garbage, not even worth the effort of a second thought...like conspiracy crap, its a big distraction from real issues, and shouldnt be worth 2 seconds of mental effort. So Shepard Smiths presence in Fox is an interesting anomaly. I am amazed he keeps his job...there must be an interesting story there about the relationship between him and his employers. I remember when the corruption regarding Governor Chris Christy came out, Fox News completely ignored it, except for Shep, who told his viewers that he cant get into it, but suggested they look up the story on the Internet. Perhaps someday, Shep will publish a memoir on his journalism career...I would like to read it: mediamatters.org/blog/2014/10/15/seven-times-shep-smith-was-fox-news-voice-of-re/201174
