I wondered... if i was President Aquino, how would i approach the tacloban crisis... context: 1. crisis on the ground ongoing 2. lots of foreign aid coming in 3. lots of foreign experts are coming in 4. the resource of the world is in our disposal if only we are humble enough to ask this is what i will do. 1. hire a foreign expert (best in UnitedNation-who is actually willing to do it for free) in crisis management and recovery. ill ask him to take over the tacloban crisis, we will pay him $1 to make the consultant status legitimate. 2. all govt agencies involve in the crisis will be reporting to him 3. all foreign funds will be coursed through his group 4.. all foreign groups coming in to help will be centralized under his direction 5. he will be accountable to make the master plan of reconstructing the city to the best liveable, self sufficent, affordable city in the world. he will execute this using the funds donated by other countries he then turns over the city to the people of tacloban after reconstruction -------------------- it is like running a business and one area of the business goes terribly wrong, and the problem is continuing and we dont know where or how to start.... and a rush of foreign experts comes in to help your business. EVERY BUSINESSMANS DREAM COME TRUE! i would tell them to go ahead and fix the problem and ILL GET OUT OF THE WAY! just an idea.
