I would like to enquire whether it would be possible for someone to look into the matter in regards to the jacaranda lab computers where students are locking their computers and then just leaving the computers, the result is that those of us who actually lock our computers for a few minutes with the intention of coming back (in less than ten minutes) now come back to someone else on the computer we where working on (and had locked so as to avoid others logging on to it). Is there any way this situation can be remedied? I have already lost work due to this,where I went to the bathroom and I came back to find someone else on the computer I had locked, I kindly requested the person to move to another computer (the labs where empty at the time) and the response I got is not befitting social media. It needs to be mentioned that during this altercation there was not a lab assistant present, so asking for their assistance was out of the question.
