I would like to offer an early Sunday morning prayer for those who are waking up in your bunk, on a ramp, or a truck stop, preparing to run under the stars this evening into the morning, not able to sit in a pew or be with family, If I may…please pray with me… Lord, we take a moment from our daily lives, aware of all the blessings youve bestowed upon us, to offer a heartfelt prayer. Father, we ask and pray, you ride, walk and talk with us each and every day. We pray you take our hand and guide us through life as well down this road, as we journey tirelessly. Lord our lives are messy…we get caught up in the daily to do, the miles to travel, the conversations to have. Lord we forget to live our lives in your grace and mercy. Lord, we know by your word and scripture you will never forsake us or leave us. We often try to take control and ask for favors or deeds that are not in our best interest, if were going to listen, love and live in you. Lord as we journey through our life, you show us and present opportunity to glorify you and we often ask Why Me Lord. We ask for your guidance with the prayer you taught us to pray, Our Father, who art in heaven hallowed be thy name Thy Kingdom come thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven Give us this day our daily bread And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever and ever Amen
