I would like to take a moment to reflect upon and say goodbye to my dear friend Winamp. Winamp has been my number 1 music player program since I first knew how to download mp3s off of Napster and Limewire. I remember getting excited to compile my list of songs in the Winamp player because it would tell me how much I had and how long my playlist ran for. I remember when I first started making music, I would put my songs together on the Winamp playlist just so I can visualize how it would look like to see 1. AM Kidd - Bay Wit It. It gave me hope that one day, my name would pop up in somebody elses Winamp playlist. I STILL use Winamp till this day because its not cluttered with anything I dont need. Im sorry that after December 20, 2013, people wont be able to download you and see you in all of your glory. R.I.P. Winamp, youve been a great friend and long time companion.
