I would like to thank Elite Immigration Services for their amazing - TopicsExpress

I would like to thank Elite Immigration Services for their amazing Act of Kindness that they have been doing for my family over the past two years almost. Here is our story: My husband, Julian is from the USA. We met online about 15yrs ago, and 7yrs ago we decided to take our friendship to the next level. He traveled to Canada and although we already knew we loved each other, we fell in love completely at first sight. We married here in Kamloops in 2009 but due to financial restrictions he had to return to the States so we could both continue working and saving money so we could eventually be together as a family. We were apart for almost two years when my health became very poor and we decided that we could stay apart no longer. Despite all odds we knew we had to try and make this happen, we would be stronger together than apart; even if we had to eat hotdogs for every meal. We attempted every which way possible to ensure employment for him prior to coming to Canada permanently, but the economy had just tanked and employers at that time were not hiring, especially immigrants. We both were working for Convergys, (he in North Carolina, I was here in Kamloops) and they had promised to transfer him into a position here right before our marriage. But as most of us know, they shut their doors with little to no warning and took those jobs overseas. This is why Julian went back immediately after we married...we had no optionat the time. We sought out assistance from other immigration consultants, to help us process the multitude of paperwork that was required; but they all wanted thousands of dollars to take on our case. So we decided to try it on our own again. Julian applied for employers to hire him and sent in for Labour Market Opinions, etc but to no avail :-( The government could not approve it because hiring wages in that time were just not good enough. I was still supporting us by working, but eventually I had to go on CPP Disability because my health had become worse (I could barely walk or even roll out of bed on my own), and I was expecting to go in for two major hip repair surgeries. We were self sufficient and not depending on the social system in any way, but we just barely were making ends meet and literally just surviving. We certainly couldnt afford to hire an Immigration Consultant to help us through the red tape of applying for Spousal Sponsorship, even though we knew we qualified in every way to do so. We also couldnt manage their paperwork and do the application process on our own either. My family was terrified that Julian would have to leave us and go back to the States. It is was at this time Elite Immigration Services moved to Kamloops. We were referred to the company by Immigration Services that used to be located downtown but has since moved to the Northshore. Honestly, we thought it was pointless. There was no way we could afford it! But something inside of me said, TRY. I setup the appt. with Mr. Chadha and my husband and I met with him immediately. We explained our situation, financials, etc. He agreed to take on our case....for only $500 plus the filing fees! We couldnt believe it! Such shock and awe that this business would take on such a complicated situation and be so kind! We still couldnt even afford that though....not without going without food, rent, etc. I posted on my personal fb account regarding our plight and a dear friend of ours, Susan surprised us by coming to this group and asking the community to donate anything they had and to do a massive fundraiser/yard sale to raise the needed funds so we could pay these fees and begin our journey to get Julian to stay and be able to work and support his family. The entire community came out and before I knew it, Kelly had offered her yard for the location. Seamlessly everything was falling into place. I was so amazed and humbled that complete strangers were coming together and doing this for us! We set the date and had an amazing time that weekend. People from all over Kamloops came to buy, some came just to give monetary donations. We raised exactly what we needed that weekend from the event and signed an agreement with the Mr. Chadha. This was a humongous moment for our family! Immigration recieved all of our paperwork and applications on November 19th, 2012. Since then, weve struggled, weve maintained our cost of living, we never even went to the Food Bank when times were the hardest because in order for me to qualify to Sponsor my husband, we could not depend on the social system in any way. We have had a very hard time maintaining; but by grace of God, members of this group, friends, and family - we survived! Today we happily announce that my husband has recieved his open work permit and can now obtain employment with whomever he chooses to work for! Our family thanks each and every one of you! For without your understanding, graciousness, and emotional support - we could not have achieved this. My husband will stay with us now, our worried and stress are almost extinct, and words can not describe how extremely grateful we are to this community and all of your kindness! For each and every kind act youve given us or another - it has made this amazing impact for our family. Thank you! If ever you need an Immigration Consultant to help your loved one, family or friends; I encourage you to seek out Mr. Ashish Chadhas services. Because ultimately if he had not given us the kindness and empathy of his own act and not charging more to us as he rightfully could have; we would not have been able to make it through the extensive paperwork required for Sponsorship of my one true love and soul mate.
