I would say this is me giving myself a pep talk, but honestly, its for me as much as all of you that care to read it. I know I tend to ramble sometimes, but so many of you have wanted to know how Ive been loosing the weight. So I think, its time I give in and share some daily advice, pointers, my ramblings and ideas... Take them or leave them lol! So here goes ;) Just because you are eating a healthier choice than a hamburger type sandwich for example, such as a salmon burger or veggie burger, and it has less calories and fats etc, doesnt mean you get 2! The plan is to eat less cal, fats, good carbs and protiens, not over endulge on what could be healthy. If you are eating x2 as much food, just becauae its healthier, doesnt mean its better. The point is to train your body to not engulf everything around you. Especially if you are an emotional eater like myself. Another tip... Dont tell yourself you cant have something. This isnt a diet! Its a lifestyle change. Unless you plan on NEVER eating chocolate, or pie, or chips, etc... again, You have to make a choice! I choose to eat a different kind of chip, 1 piece of dark chocolate vs an entire bag of Dove. I have a half suggested serving of pie, or I substitue something equally tasty but healthier... If you tell yourself you cant have something, chances are, eventually youre going to anway and it wont be pretty! This is all about choices. Not a law. Not judgement or right and wrong. This is about you and honesty, commitment, and self satisfaction. You are not trying to make anyone happy but yourself. If during that process, someone joins in with you, great.... But this is about you and your choices.... Own them. Live them. Be true to them. And love yourself!!!
