I will state first that I have a lot of family that are in all branches of military so I am not insensitive to people who are in the military or have family that is in the military. My question stems from Obamas recent address to the military where he thanked them for fighting for our freedom. This is where I am lost. I was not aware that our military was fighting for our freedom. Who, in other countries, is threatening my freedom? I ask this question seriously because I have not heard of any plans, outside of the U.S. government, to take away my freedom.
