I replied to a friend who said that both the religious right and the secular leftists had a view of morality as arbitrary. --- Actually, Christians think that morality is, not arbitrary, but objective. Of course, their conception of objective is what we Objecivists know as the intrinsic. But its the essence of the Christians contempt for the secular leftists, that the leftistss morality is non-absolute and arbitrary. It is we Objectivist who, rightly, view Christian morality as arbitrary -- not the Christians, who are abhorred by the idea of arbitrary morality. ---
