I wrote this short jawn to help myself cope with ferguson stuff. Its a protest song but its personal and I wasnt able to share it on here without talking to a good friend first. thats why im posting now bc its late and itll get lost. lyrics : New shoes on my feet. Cold blood on the streets. Movies aren’t as scary as the color of the concrete. Every time I read a racist tweet, I wanna get up off of my bicycle seat and poach the white meat. When I get home, I lay down in the shower. It’s friday but I need to lay here for a few hours. Both eyes on the ceiling. I ask why I’m able to walk out my front door unarmed and come home alive….Darren shot Mike in the head twice. Have you ever lost a fight where they shot the other person in the head even once?
