I ❤️ TRX jump squats! I upended myself yesterday with power complex circuits and met-con. Here was one of the power circuits that I did.. ✨ 5 sets in total, 20 reps on each exercise with no rest between each exercise, 90 second rest between each set ✨ - 10kg lateral raises - high box jumps - over head ball throw from a push press position (7kg ball) - TRX jump squats - ball slams It was a very sweaty session, which I do love I like mixing up my training from strength to conditioning. Mixing both creates a perfect balance - both types of training will aid each other! Why jump squats? Theyre a versatile movement and can help someone accomplish various things. They: 1) build strength-speed, explosiveness and power 2) improve rate of force development 3) build up plyometric capacities 4) increase muscle motor unit recruitment 5) enhance and aid your strength work Give them try.. I love them! Be as explosive as you can.. Try not to pull out of the TRX band, rather let your legs do all the work.
