ICC Reality Beckons: As expected the Super-Power, United States, has decided to invite President Uhuru Kenyatta to Washington. The simple message is this: Come August 2014 when he will be meeting Obama- Uhuru Kenyatta will have NO CASE at the Hague. Rutos case will follow suit. Just like the cases were created to serve political purposes- they have died a political death. Justice was never, and has never been the driving force at ICC- politics was and is. Events in the past nine months have conspired to catapult Uhuru and Ruto from ICC suspects to key regional players, that the United States cannot do without. Check this, Turkana Oil will have have capacity of 150,000 barrels per day by 2017 and more than double that in 2022. Uganda will have capacity of 200,000 barrels per day and 500,000 bpd in 2022. South Sudan has the current capacity of 200,000 barrels per day, and the potential of reaching 1,000,000 barrels per day. Eastern DRC has also made huge discoveries. In a nutshell Uhuru Kenyatta finds himself being the leader of the oil rich region, and the ONLY viable outlet of more than 2 million barrels of oil per day. Museveni had convinced Kibaki, and Kagame to invest in a large refinery at Buseruka sub-county of Hoima district. However, when Turkana came alive with Oil- things changed. Kenya will build her own refinery. That explains why Museveni rushed to please Salva Kiir- his plan is to steal the channel of Oil from South Sudan, and direct it to Hoima. Museveni has simply not come to terms that his plans of putting up a Ksh 300 billion refinery have simply gone up the smoke after Kenya struck Oil. His gameplan is to win over the heart of Kiir and steal the thunder from the Kenya Refinery project. However, Uhuru and Hailemariam of Ethiopia outmaneuvered Museveni when they played the diplomacy card and negotiated a ceasefire. Suddenly, Uhuru has upstaged Museveni and Kikwete and is the new regional kingpin, as far as American diplomacy is concerned. Simple reality, the United States will always smile at anyone that has influence over 2 million barrels of oil per day. This simply means that the nightmare that was started by that comedian called Moreno Ocampo has died a natural death. Finally, those that were laughing at the prayer meetings in the past three years are the ones crying now;Lesson- never mock any broken-hearted man on his knees crying for mercy from his God
