IF you text while driving, then you ARE an accident waiting to happen. And, when you DO cause an accident, it will very likely result in a horrific injury and/or death. Living with the thought that you robbed someone of their grandparent, parent, sibling, etc. is one helluva burden to carry for the rest of your life - if youre the one who survives the accident. No text is worth dying for. No text is worth killing for. No text is so important that it must be read and answered immediately. If you dont text and drive, but your family members, friends or co-workers do, then ask them to stop. If youre riding with someone and they whip out their phone, tell them: dont text while Im in your car. If they have a problem with that, then theyre NOT your friend. Last, but not least, if you must read or send a text, then pull off the road, so you dont kill yourself or someone else.
