II Tim. 1:7says God had not given us the spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind. In many way these are fearful times. There is economic uncertainty,there are those who practice terrorism.who doesnt have concern over their family when we hear about deadly desease and viruses? In spite of all that we as Christians need to remember PS .91:1-10 and humbly claim those versus as our own. V1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High. Shall abide un...der the shadow of the Almighty. V2. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust. V5.You shall not be afraid of the terror by night. Nor of the arrow that flies by day, V6. Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. V9.Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge. Even the Most High, your dwelling place. ( My thoughts are even tho these are) ( fearful times,we do not have to ) ( be afraid. Instead I want to hold) ( on to Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage, do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you where ever you go.
