IMHO -The US Administration finally seems to be zeroing in on a position and plan to deal with the ISIS threat in the Middle East. Tomorrow evening will be a moment to listen carefully to the results of what seems to have been an endless time of skirting the issue. Unfortunately, judging from the spin being given by todays pop news hours, we may be invited to support a cant catch the tiger, so chase after the cat routine. The thrust seems to be to ask the American public to support training and funding the rebels in Syria with the hopes that ISIS will have little influence or increased gain in that region; an effort to isolate the tiger. However, this disastrous band-aid approach will not be of comfort to the thousands of Christians, & moderate Muslims in Syria, who have suffered at the hands of the so-called moderate rebels. Facts tell us, even though most Americans are unfamiliar with them, that in Syria it has not been ISIS (or ISIL) that has killed, wounded & displaced many of Syrian Christians, and destroyed their churches. BUT it is the so-called moderate Anti-Assad forces of the Syrian Liberation Army coalition that has done this. So by sending them aid, the US will find the round-about means of getting at Assad, instead of dealing directly with ISIL. We weaken the cat while the tiger runs loose. The end result, of course, will be the increased ability of the SLA to gain strength, and ultimately accomplish its declared intention - Jews to Israel, Christians to Beirut, & Shia & Alawites to the sword! Syria will then be an open door to the Saudi & Qatar ISIL backers, who are really behind the whole problem.
