**IMPORTANT** I cannot stress the importance of the attached article enough!! We were just at the vet earlier this week with our cats plus an indoor foster for this very thing as we didnt know who the culprit was. We know all too well due to Venuss very rare complete blockage (common in males, almost unheard of in females) & 5 day hospital stay in Sept 2013 how one morning they are seemingly fine & by that night in critical condition. They hide pain VERY well so please become familiar & attentive of your cats litter box habits & dont assume that eliminating outside the litterbox is behavioral or territorial marking (my mistake of assuming that was a very costly one financially & emotionally for both us and Venus). Go to the vet immediately! Dont waste time. If I had found Venus a couple hours later than I did, she might not be with us today. Thank you Best Friends Animal Society for this ever so important article! Friends please please share. You may bring awareness to someone whose pets life might be saved from your share post. I have learned from the mistake I made by assuming and through that I want to save people from going through what I did watching Venus suffer & not knowing what her fate would be for the first 48 hrs. It was one of saddest & scariest weeks of my life. Thanks to extra special care from Dr. Simons Pet Clinic she recovered 100%. He went above and beyond the call of duty & we are eternally grateful!
