IMPORTANT INFO CONCERNING COLOR ME CURED 5k The Color Me Cured 5k will still be held THIS SATURDAY MARCH 29TH AT 9AM RAIN OR SHINE. Our Relay for Life Team is making every effort to ensure this fundraiser goes on. After reviewing the forecast for Saturday and going on info given by all parties involved, the decision to try and move the event to Sunday was made by me. After that info was posted, the Reidsville Police Department informed us that they would be unable to fully staff our event if held Sunday and keep everyones safety a priority. Therefore, we will have this event on Saturday RAIN or SHINE. PLEASE remember why we all are participating in this event. Cancer does not care if it is raining or what day it is. We will do our absolute best to accommodate everyone involved in this event. What Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society stands for is involved in all our lives in some shape or form. Please remember we are all on the same team. Please be understanding and patient with us as we attempt to put on this fundraiser in support of this major cause. Thank you so much for your support and I look forward to seeing you Saturday. Cancer can take away all my physical abilities. But it can not touch my mind and it can not touch my heart and it can not touch my soul.
