INA LILAHI WA INNA ILAHE ROJIUN We regret to announce the death of Sheik Mustapha Olayiwola Ajisafe the PRESIDENT GENERAL, LEAGUE OF IMAM AND ALFAS IN YORUBA LAND, EDO AND DELTA today . Sheik Olayiwola Ajisafe was a cleric emeritus, who started as a student of the Late Sheik Kamaldeen al adabiyy Al-Ilorin, he later studied in Cairo, Kuwait and Iran. He was appointed as Ajanasi to late Sheikh Ayobami onilewura and later Noib Imam to Sheikh Jimoh Baba pupa, then Chief Imam of Osogbo and later the President General League of Imam and Alfas in Yoruba Land, Edo and Delta Late Imam Ajisafe was a thorough bred scholar, he was an incurable seeker of knowledge, his tenacity and oratory was second to none, his versatility in reading any language fluently was a plus as the late Imam was comfortable in reading English, French, Latin, Hebrew and Yoruba language, he is multilingua. Sheikh Olayiwola Mustapha Ajisafe was not only a respected Imam in Nigeria but he was respected and adored in entire Muslim world. May Almighty Allah accept Baba Ajisafe in Aljanat Firdaos, and may Allah give the family, Osun Muslim community and the entire Muslim ummah the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss... Amin.
