INSPIRATION!!! GRAVITY OF THE WORD OF GOD 2 Timothy 3:10 - 17 THE WORLD IS DRIFTING IN CHAOS AND CONFUSION This is a major sign of the events that characterize the end-time syndrome. The chaotic confusion being experienced globally has a devastating effects on the very existence of human beings on planet earth. As alarming as the situation seem, God is in total control.Nothing misses His attention. Christians are not only molested and persecuted but are out rightly killed! Yet Gods plans for the true martyrs in Christ is eternal glory in His presence! THE CHALLENGE Paul reminded and forewarned Timothy of all the gruesome difficulties that he (Paul) faced and the victory God granted him by delivering him from them all. Timothy is to continue in the noble virtues and ministry of the Word by following the example of Paul and not forgetting the Holy Scriptures he learned from home. Parents have comfortably handed over their children to cartoons and the entertainment industry of movies, music and modelling to erroneous shape and conform these potentially great people to be misfits of the their very destines. Our age is breeding professional liars - deceived and being deceived! THE GRAVITY - ANCHOR Only the Word of God can bring the appropriate balance we need to fulfill Gods purpose in our lives. The Word corrects, rebukes, teaches, trains and equips us for complete build up in righteousness - the gracious environment for the true operation of believers in the matter of FAITH. NB: Your spiritual weight (measured by the deposit of the Word in the inside) is a function of how far and deep your relevance in life will be! The GRAVITY of the Word guarantees our stability in these unstable and catastrophic times! The deep rooted Word of God ensures that no wind of perverse doctrine can swerve us adversely against our Maker and Lord! You cannot be easily deceived when you are embedded by the WORD - TRUTH!
