INTERNET NOVELTY DAYS....when a hosted event would draw dozens to hundreds to most any type of social gathering. TCON, AOL Chat rooms, all the etcs until the day those ole stages died. Then came Facebook, just in time for a few years o fun before retiring to the ole folkx home or the grave, whichever comes first. Its been a real joy seeing ole friends from yesteryear, a different crowd, a new crowd in many ways, w-the ole hood flare. So many have come out to visit, so many want to but cant or wont. Hearing all the reasons n promises for why or why-not has given a new perspective to peoples as we age. Life is short !! GET OUT N DO IT while you still can, see ole friends n family, be a part o the festivities, whatever they may be. Start w-the holidays, continue onward to next year w-a mindset ure gonna do this !! Otherwise, walk-the-plank !! Arrrgh .
