INVITATION TO THE PUBLIC: The public is invited to a joint seminar on Philippine civil registration laws and procedures as well as marriage and family laws in the Philippines and UAE at the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai on 26 April 2014, Saturday, 1:00pm to 6:00pm. The joint seminar will feature Hon. Carmelita Ericta, Administrator of the National Statistics Office (NSO). Ms. Ericta will be accompanied by Director Lourdes Hufana and Director Joseph Cajita. They will talk about Philippine civil registration matters such as birth, marriage, divorce, death and petitions for correction of clerical errors in civil registry documents. The joint seminar will also feature Atty. Barney Almazar and his colleagues from Gulf Law. They will talk about Philippine and UAE laws on marriage and family matters.
