IRAQ: Large numbers of Iraqis from the Yazidi minority have fled their homes in areas seized by Islamic State (formerly ISIS/ISIL) fighters. According to UNICEF, almost 4,000 of the refugees on the Syrian-Iraqi border are children who were forced to travel with limited access to food or water for at least 12 days.
