IRO office of University of Tirana on 2nd-5th December 2014 held for the first time a three day promotional event with 50 students at first and second cycle of studies in Tushemisht, Pogradec. The aim was to promote the JoinEU-SEE Penta project, its scholarships and to give information on mobility schemes funded by European Commission for Western Balkan countries. During the information session there was held a general presentation about Erasmus Mundus Action 2 followed by a presentation of different projects where students can apply to. Students had the possibility to take information regarding the scholarships, period of mobility, learn more details about the benefits included in the scholarships, that is monthly subsistence allowance, insurance, travel and visa costs, and tuition fees, etc. Another Information Session was held on Erasmus Mundus Action 1 and Erasmus + where detailed information was given to students of University of Tirana. There was organized also a workshop regarding the impact and importance of mobility programmes. Students had the chance to discuss regarding the impact of such mobility schemes, what are the opportunities and challenges at individual and institutional level. They explored the opportunities and problems that students may face during the mobility program. Students highlighted the importance and benefits of mobility scholarships. At the end of workshop there was conducted also a survey from students who have not been part of these mobility schemes, in order to learn more regarding their perspective and interest in these schemes. The activity was followed also by well organized social and cultural events.
