ISIS is to Islam what the KKK is to Christianity. Every religion has its extremists, and its violent extremists (yes, even Buddhism has had violent extremists... talk about a contradiction in terms!) The real issue is simply that theres been a media spotlight on the problems in and from the middle east. A lot of the Christian and Jewish extremists have acted either alone, or in very small groups. The Muslim extremists simply are more organized, so end up with larger groups, so they get more media attention. In Japan, Buddhists were once able to justify killing someone who was at risk of accumulating bad karma, as it was saving them. How about this slogan= The mercy of Buddha should be recompensed even by pounding flesh to pieces. Ones obligation to the Teacher should be recompensed even by smashing bones to bits!? How about the KKK? Army of God? Lambs of Christ? Christian Patriots? Hutaree? The Covenant? The Sword? The Arm of God? Defensive Action? Hear of any of those groups? All christian terror groups. Violence isnt limited to any one extremist group. And the use of violence by one portion of a community should not reflect upon the ENTIRE community. Saying all muslims are bad because SOME use violence is liking say all christians are bad because SOME use violence, or all blacks are bad because SOME use violence, and all whites are bad because SOME use violence.
