ISRAEL: Jerusalems Al-Aqsa mosque was re-opened by Israeli officials for morning prayer on Friday, October 31, reversing the decision taken to close the mosque as a result of tensions in the city after an attempted assassination of a far-right Rabbi. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas called the closure an “act of war”, and the mosques director, Omar Al-Kiswani said the decision to close the site was dangerous and irrational. Men under the age of 50 were still forbidden from attending. This video shows dawn prayers at the mosque. This video is embeddable: المركز الفلسطيني للإعلام via Facebook.
