IT IS REAL!!! Luke 16:19-23 (KJV) 19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: 20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, 21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich mans table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abrahams bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. Friend, this is not a parable, or tale by moon light, this was a certain story told by Jesus Himself. These two men lived in this world, the rich man was very rich, that he can afford to live an elaborate life! He eat what he like, not what he see, he put on expensive clothes, and eat delicacies, etc. But Lazarus was too poor that even the poor in those days called him poor Lazarus. He had no helper, no food, no money, no clothe, no wife, no children, he was a wretched man. He had very big sores all over his body that brought out stinking fluid from time to time, he had no means of taken care of it. Dogs used to be his nurse, they would come from time to time to lick that stinking fluid in his big sores. He was always laid at the gate of the rich man, but he had no assess to enter, the rich man knows him even by name, but never helped him, Lazarus was always perceived the good odour of the rich mans delicacies, and always desires to be fed by the one that fell down from the rich mans table, but no way. Jesus said, one day the poor Lazarus died. 22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abrahams bosom: Another name for Abraham bosom is Paradise! The place of rest for those who died in God through Christ! Not long after this, the rich man died too. 22 ....the rich man also died, and was buried; 23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. The rich man died and went to hell fire! Hell is a prison yard of God where all those who willingly rejected God of Israel or Jesus, and those who died in unrepented sins before death are kept and be tormented till the final judgment that will take them to the lake of fire! Hell is different from lake of fire! Why did Lazarus went to paradise to rest was it because he was poor before death? No! It is not poverty state that take any one to paradise! There are so many poor people in hell who suffered here and still went to hell! Beside, it is not the will of God for us His children to be poor, because He is the most holiest and most wealthiest God, and God cant be wealthy and the children be poor! Because even naturally, the children of the wealthy man in deed cant be poor! What made Lazarus to entered paradise was because; He lived his life in the fear of God, He never use is disadvantage to his advantage to join himself with men of the under world in those day to rob people! Or to steal their yam in the farm or cattle in the field, etc. Therefore, he choose to died of hunger than to steal! So when he died, angels came to carried him to paradise to rest! What is the thing that took the rich man to hell? Was it because he was rich? No! Because if riches takes some one to hell, then Abraham will not be qualified to be there! Because he was very rich! Abraham chief servants said in, Genesis 24:35 (NKJV) 35 The Lord has blessed my master greatly, and he has become great; and He has given him flocks and herds, silver and gold, male and female servants, and camels and donkeys. Why? Because his riches was from God, and he lived in the love and fear of God for life, so he went to paradise! Riches never take any one to hell, if that riches is rooted in God through Christ, and if the person involved knew God and lived his life in the fear of Him before death. We have so many rich people in paradise! Friend, hell is real! It is a place of torment for those who willingly rejected Jesus as Lord and Saviour, and those who died in unrepented sins, they will be there before the final judgment that will usher them to the lake of fire! Those of you who use to console your self that when you died, and you get to heaven, because of the magnitude of your sins. God will be so angry that He will throw you above the fire! It is a white lie from the camp of hell! No body threw the rich man, as soon as he closed his eyes in this realm, and opened his eyes in the world beyond, he met himself in flame of fire! Dont deceive your self, and dont be deceived too! How To Escape The Horror Of Hell? 1. Confess your sins, repent from it and genuinely surrender your life to Jesus Christ. The bible says they that believe in Him shall not perish, but shall have everlasting life. John 3:16. 2. Forsake all sinful habit, because those who are genuinely born again never go into sins; 1 John 3:9 (NIV) 9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. 3. Live a clean life in holiness. Why? ◄1 Thessalonians 4:7 ► Parallel Verses New International Version For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. New Living Translation God has called us to live holy lives, not impure lives. English Standard Version For God has not called us for impurity, but in holiness. King James Bible For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. 4. Let the word of God have a place in your life and be doer. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. Collosians 3:16 5. Be fill and rule by the Holy Spirit; ◄Ephesians 5:18 ► Parallel Verses New International Version Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, New Living Translation Dont be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit, Therefore, take steps to come out of sins and genuinely surrender to Jesus, so that after death you will not regret every of your moment on earth! Because, HELL IS REAL!!! And no one knows the day of his death! Those who died today didnt know that they are going to die! Friend, you and me will not lack the Grace and Mercy to make it to heaven in Jesus name. Therefore dont play with sins and unrighteousness. It is well with your soul!
