IT IS TIME -PART 2 Isaiah 46:9-10 …..remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I AM GOD, AND THERE IS NONE LIKE ME, DECLARING THE END FROM THE BEGINNING AND FROM ANCIENT TIMES THINGS NOT YET DONE, SAYING, ‘MY COUNSEL SHALL STAND, AND I WILL ACCOMPLISH ALL MY PURPOSE,’ Galatians 5:25 Since we live by the Spirit, LET US KEEP IN STEP WITH THE SPIRIT. Psalm 25:14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant. 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6 BUT OF THE TIMES AND THE SEASONS, BRETHREN, YE HAVE NO NEED THAT I WRITE UNTO YOU. FOR YOURSELVES KNOW PERFECTLY THAT THE DAY OF THE LORD SO COMETH AS A THIEF IN THE NIGHT. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. BUT YE, BRETHREN, ARE NOT IN DARKNESS, THAT THAT DAY SHOULD OVERTAKE YOU AS A THIEF. YE ARE ALL THE CHILDREN OF LIGHT, AND THE CHILDREN OF THE DAY: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. THEREFORE LET US NOT SLEEP, AS DO OTHERS; BUT LET US WATCH AND BE SOBER. Luke 12:54-56 And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is. And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass. Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time? Luke 17:26-27 And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.… God who there is no one like, dwells in Eternity and Time lies before Him clearly, the Beginning and End is open before Him…We as God’s children should also live with the perspective of Eternity, see Ecclesiastes 3:11 Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. HE HAS PLANTED ETERNITY IN THE HUMAN HEART, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of Gods work from beginning to end……God makes all things beautiful in its own time for those who believe, like I said your choices are governed by what you know and you are not supposed to be part of the people who cannot see the whole scope of Gods work from beginning to end, because if you are, you will make very wrong choices that will bring you to an undesirable end(I pray you catch this!)…let me make it clearer in 1 Thessalonians if talks about the coming of Jesus Christ being like a the coming of a thief in the night, however that is for those who are not aware of the times and not sons and daughters of the Most High, who like the Children of Issachar Understand the Times (1 Chronicles 12:32_)…to further make this clearer Jesus Christ calls certain believers hypocrites (somebody who pretends to have admirable principles, beliefs, or feelings but behaves otherwise-the believe only and not act believers) asking them, how come that they can decode the times and seasons of the Earth by observing certain events like the wind or clouds, but they cannot discern the Times(The answer is obvious in the name Hypocrite explained better in Psalm 25:14!) In Psalm 25:14 God’s secrets, His plans, the Timing of His plans, the shifts in Spiritual seasons, the transition from one dispensation to another, HE reveals to only those who fear Him(and Live Holy)...I have explained the danger of not being able to understand the Times in terms of the choices you will make but follow me let us delve into the times of Noah(a time that Jesus Christ used to describe the close of the Times, the End times), by imagination to bring this danger home, people were eating, drinking and marrying completely unaware of what God had planned, completely unaware that the Times had changed, completely unaware of the significance of the Ark Noah had built which I’m sure they mocked him for, completely unaware that that the dispensation was shifting to another, yet God there Creator, whose opinion actually counted had revealed His plan to only Noah, a man who had separated Himself from the world of iniquity and was known as a Righteous man(and to think we are in a Time when iniquity abounds and being Holy is no longer in vogue even in our Churches), which in turn caused Him to make the right choice to obey God and went into the Ark (Built according to God’s instruction ) with his family and extended family, just right on Time before the flood came! Paul says in 1 Thessalonians but ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief…… therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober….Why will someone sleep in the day time?...The Holy Spirit used a natural phenomenon to explain it to me called Jet lag(I pray you get this understanding)- Jet lag is a chronobiological problem similar to issues often induced by shift work and the circadian rhythm sleep disorders. When travelling across a number of time zones, the body clock (circadian rhythm) will be out of synchronization with the destination time, as it experiences daylight and darkness contrary to the rhythms to which it has grown accustomed. The bodys natural pattern is upset, as the rhythms that dictate times for eating, sleeping, hormone regulation and body temperature variations no longer correspond to the environment nor to each other in some cases. To the degree that the body cannot immediately realign these rhythms, it is jet lagged……..When you out of synch with God’s timing, when you are not walking with God, when you are not in tune with the Spirit of God, you will be sleeping when you should be awake and watchful, playing when you should be praying, eating and drinking when you should be fasting and praying, celebrating, partying, drinking, laughing and eating when you should be remorseful, repenting, weeping and asking for God’s mercy, as you repent as a Church, relaxed about the messages from the pulpit instead of being disturbed that the Truth is no longer being preached! Galatians 5 tell us to keep in STEP with the Spirit, be in tune, be sensitive to timing, don’t be so carried away by your worldly pursuit that you lose touch with what God is doing and intends to do through you, don’t be so entrenched in what God said that you don’t discern what God is saying, don’t be so focused on pursuing your dreams and desires that you lose connection with God’s purpose for your life, for though God is Everywhere, He will only meet you Somewhere (there is a specific place to encounter God)), God dwells in Eternity but will only meet you in Time, let this give you confidence and encouragement Amos 3:7Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets…..Before God acts in Time, what has been settled in Eternity, He must reveal it in Time to Someone, God wants you like the sons of Issachar to understand the Times, I will explain why, in consequent postings but suffice to say, position yourself to be that someone….Glory Be To God!...If you can understand this, you will always be joyful no matter your circumstances for God is about to do unbelievable things in and through your live because the Truth is this, It Is Time!
