ITS A MISSION I was a minor participant in tonights AOA - Atheists On Air broadcast, featuring Tracie Harris and Moral Dilemmas. Noah Lugeons was on the air, too, and the show ran a little past the standard three-hour mark. It was an incredible show, and the audio should be available very soon. My friend, and the AOA host, Cash Atheos, left the door open for me to give a soft-plug for Noahs book, Diatribes - Volume 1, and I definitely did it. But, this post is not about Noahs book. One of the things that Noah mentioned early in Diatribes is his interaction with the members of the Cognitive Dissonance podcast. He admitted that he was somewhat surprised to learn that among those who are vocal proponents of secularism, that particular common goal often - if not always - outweighs the desire for monetary gain. Cognitive Dissonance supports The Scathing Atheist. Noah (and the stellar SA crew) supports AOA. I support AOA, and Cognitive Dissonance. AOA occasionally likes having me on the show. We all may have different tools in our toolbox, and our personal, specific goals may differ, but what we all want is fairness. Personally, Im on a mission. So are the rest of us. And we all pretty much agree on what the general blueprint is. Im good with that. :) (Excuse me while I venture into the armory to vest myself with the frag grenades of logic and the bullets of textual criticism.)
