ITS FLASHBACK FRIDAY, and, after a lovely and productive lunch at El CHICO with my dear freind and Co-Founder/Artistic Director for Oklahoma City Repertory Theater; Donald Jordan, I inadvertently came across this Playbill article from 2003 announcing the formation of OKCS brand new Equity Theater...CityRep. Thirteen years later, the little theater that could HAS, and, pigs are not only flying, theyre circling the Civic Center bearing witness to yet ANOTHER Sold Out critically praised production!!! If I sound proud, I AM!!!! It has taken a whole lot of blood, sweat, tears, favors, compromise and sacrifice to lead us to our Thirteenth successful Season, but, WEVE MADE IT, with the support and promise of a bright and ever expanding future!!!! THANK YOU to ALL Actors, Artists, Administrators, Advocates, and Audience that have supported and believed in us from those first early days to our current Sold Out run away Hit, VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE. We all feel truly blessed within the Company to have been embraced by our Community and we promise to continue to work hard to earn your continuing support.
