This highly evolved drive system features a high-precision cutting technique that achieves perfect gear meshing and ultra smooth performance. The new gears are made from an ultra strong, corrosion resistant alloy that is both lighter and stronger than any gear we have developed before. Silent Oscillation III further enhances the reel’s whisper quiet and silky smooth operation. Rock Solid Body A precision machine-cut, highly rigid, Super Metal body forms an immovable foundation for the new Certate Limited, and houses the reel’s extensive list of features with unrivalled strength. Made from a highly corrosion resistant alloy, the super sturdy body creates a rock solid foundation that is impervious to the elements and the rigors of angling. A revolutionary new system, Mag Seal involves scientifically designed magnetized oil that forms an impenetrable seal that prevents, dust, water and salt intrusion, and eliminates oil spray associated with traditional non-magnetized seals. Originally introduced to deliver unprecedented rotor bearing protection, the Certate Limited sees Mag Seal technology used on one of the hardest wearing and most corrosion prone areas, the line roller bearing. Subjected to constant pressure and intrusion from water and salt, roller bearings are often the first component to suffer the effects of wear. That was until now. With Magseal technology the issue is a thing of past. Ultimate protection and performance go hand in hand with Magseal, and the all-new Daiwa Certate Limited. Light as Air Light as air and as strong as steel, Daiwa’s Air Rotor delivers balance, weightlessness and strength like only Daiwa can. Lighter, stronger and more balanced and sensitive than any rotor system that’s come before, ‘Air Rotor’ features a Zaion made, precision engineered arch that provides exceptional line roller support and disperses pressure to the lower section of the rotor to reduce stressing and flexing. Sensitivity is one of the strongest attributes of Air Rotor. The rotor is made from a high sensitive Zaion that transmits vibration through the reel more efficiently than ever before. Zaion is simply explained as a high-density carbon resin.
