ITS TOO LATE NOW The earth has finally turned around Never thought changes would be so profound Crimson has finally turned red The flame of revenge has burnt The bridge, once blended with love The eyes have found a way Even when you know that I know To move the sight away The flocks of laughter have dissolved Into the vicious fake smile Is right the only reason? Or the other one is gain? Is gain the new motivation? And only loss is the cause of pain? Loss and gain has finally expressed its reign Why do I do anything for you? Am I afraid of you? Or in exchange for Lumia 1520 from you? I have a lot better reason Because there’s a friend of mine in you But it’s too late now… I’ve learnt to say what I never mean And you’ve learnt to hear what I never meant Gradually I’ve learnt to forgive you And you’ve learnt to unacquaint me And trash a tea-bag away After it served its hue But still don’t have any clue Why its smile grew gray Not a single ounce of love and care Had dropped off of the heavy heart When you thought its half empty And it’s the time to depart In the nature’s rulebook, there must be a part Which says “what comes close, must fall apart” But there’s definitely one thing it shows: ‘Adapt or die’ So live as it allows Or die (as it allows) -Ashutosh Kumar Singh
