IT’S BEEN A HARD DAYS NIGHT: The last week has been tough. I’ve defaulted back into old patterns – feeling stressed; ‘there’s not enough time’, and being in a constant state of hyper vigilance. I’ve presented my story to two audiences; I’ve completed my book, and I’ve prepared for a Matrix Reimprinting workshop which starts tomorrow. I’ve been stressed, short tempered and cross. But the fabulous thing about this is now, it’s different. It feels horrible but it’s short term. It will be completed within a few days. The part that saddens my heart and brings tears to my eyes is that before this year (before I started the Authentic Speaker Academy for Leadership), THIS would have been my every day life: constantly checking the time and knowing there was so much more to accomplish. Constantly feeling dissatisfied and overwhelmed. I now know that this doesn’t have to be my reality – it’s different. This evening, Michael said, “Enough!” He sat me down and played Peter Sellers’ ‘A Hard Days Night’. I laughed out loud. I have been a total be-atch this week. He got it. No matter how stressed we might be, it doesn’t have to be permanent, and there’s always time to laugh.
